Terms & Conditions 

Payment

A part payment is required upon booking to secure the date for your cake; Wedding Cakes is £50 and Birthday/Celebration is £20; the balance is payable prior to the date of collection/delivery; for Wedding Cakes it is one calendar month and Birthday/Celebration is one week.  If payment is not received by the date specified a reminder will be sent, but ultimately, we will be unable to fulfil your order. 

Cancelation

Wherever possible, we endeavour to accommodate any changes in date, due to unforeseen circumstances, and should the date be reallocated to another we will happily return any advance payments made.  

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an order, we will give as much notice as possible, arrange a suitable replacement with your agreement or refund all monies.

Cake Care & Storage

Cakes should be stored in a cool dry place, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat in the box provided. They should NOT be refrigerated, unless advised to do so at time of collection, for example in extreme weather conditions.  We advise that cakes are transported in the empty boot of a vehicle on a flat surface.  

We are unable to accept any liability for any damage sustained to the cake once it leaves our premises, nor any failure to follow the instructions provided; however, should there be any issues please contact us and we will endeavour to advise. 

Delivery & Setup Service

We offer a free delivery and setup service for Wedding Cakes, within 15miles of our premises, anything over this will be chargeable. 

Once the cake has been delivered, we are unable to accept any liability for any damage sustained to the cake at the venue; nor any failure to follow the instructions provided.  However should there be any issues the venue can contact us and we will endeavour to advise. 

Hire of Equipment

A refundable deposit is required for any equipment hired.  Cake stand deposits start at £50, with a hire charge of £25 for upto 5 days.  We also hire cake tins, and these have a £20 deposit per tin , with a hire charge of £2 per day. 

d.  For a full refund of the deposit, equipment must be returned on date agreed, but definitely no later than 5 days after the event and in the original condition; if we are required to clean, refurbish or replace the equipment or collect, without prior agreement, the deposit is forfeit.

Food Allergies

Special diets can be catered for such as gluten, egg or dairy free; however, customers must be aware that cakes are produced in the same kitchen as all others, although not at the same time.  If the allergy is severe then we are unable to offer this service, therefore it is advisable to go to a bakery that specialises in these types of cakes. 

Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and will only use the data you have shared with us to administer your account while your enquiry and order is active. Once the enquiry or order is complete we will not contact you further.  When taking card payments, we enter them directly into the secure payment system and do not store them in any format; we will never ask you to email your card details. 

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and have physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to safeguard the information we collect.

Publication and Advertising

Any photographs taken of your cake may appear on our website, Facebook page and any other social media accounts we hold; or may be used in future publications or advertising.
